Ireland Fellows Programme – Africa 2026-27: Fully Funded Master’s Degree

Ireland Fellows Programme

The Ireland Fellows Program—Africa might just be your ticket to a top-notch education and a life-changing experience.

This fellowship, backed by the Government of Ireland, is a golden opportunity for the brightest minds from eligible African nations to gain a fully covered one-year Master’s program in a premier Irish university. This is more than a mere scholarship; it is a leadership journey and a strategic partnership with your country’s development.

 Why This Fellowship Matters

Education is an immensely effective change agent—a fact that Ireland is quite aware of from its growth experience. With the Ireland Fellows Program, the Irish government is giving hands to future leaders to gain the necessary skills, knowledge, and global mindset to fix the issues that are giving them trouble at home.

More than 4,000 fellows have participated in the program in the past 50 years. The alumni come back thoroughly prepared to make a difference in policy, become the engines of new ideas, and contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) movement.

Women’s leadership is a very important part of the whole program—we are strongly inviting women who are qualified to leadership positions to apply.
