Only international students of Soka University undergraduate courses with excellent academic performance, high morality and financial difficulties can apply for this scholarship. Eligibility Criteria:
Scholarship available for any foreign candidates if:
Current Student in the Undergraduate Program at Soka University
Be highly accomplished academically
The exhibits of good character and stuff
Face financial struggles that might affect their possibility of continuing the studies
Scholarship Benefits:
On a 4.0 scale, the cumulative grade point average (GPA) of successful applicants will determine their financial support:

Cumulative GPA between 2.8 and 3.5: 40,000 JPY / month x 12 months (480,000 JPY / year)
Overall GPA of 2.2 to 2.8: JPY 30,000 per month x 12 months (JPY 360,000 per year)
Application and Selection Process:
After enrolment, international students will receive details on how to apply for the scholarship during the scholarship orientation. We will make application announcements for continuing students, especially those in their second, third, or fourth years, during the December orientation session.

The recipient’s bank account will receive the scholarship funds upon confirmation of his or her registration status, typically at the end of each month.
