About Wide Horizons for Children
WHFC is dedicated to the well-being of orphaned and vulnerable children, focusing on family empowerment through a holistic Family Preservation Approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, design, and implement economic empowerment initiatives within the Family Preservation Program.
- Conduct needs assessments and market analyses to inform program strategies.
- Provide technical support and training to program teams and community groups.
- Monitor and evaluate program impact, ensuring data-driven improvements.
- Strengthen partnerships with governmental and private sector stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s or BA/BSc in Economics, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Experience:
- 8 years with a BA/BSc, or 4 years with a Master’s/MSC in economic empowerment/livelihoods programs.
- You should have spent at least 3 years working in an NGO or development context, preferably with a focus on children.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong knowledge in economic empowerment strategies, monitoring, and evaluation.
- Excellent networking, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software applications.
