Position Overview
As the HR Lead at EASE Engineering PLC, you will oversee and manage comprehensive HR functions for our construction and project operations. You will ensure that HR practices bolster workforce productivity, ensure compliance, and meet project delivery needs. This role reports directly to the Chief Corporate Services Officer (CCSO) and functionally to the Deputy CEO, collaborating closely with project managers, site administrators, and corporate leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Lead recruitment efforts for head office and project-based roles, including engineers, site supervisors, foremen, and laborers.
- Develop strategic workforce planning aligned with project timelines and manpower needs.
- Oversee the entire hiring process, from job postings to final selections, ensuring smooth onboarding and staff mobilization to project sites.
Payroll, Attendance & HR Operations
- Manage payroll processing through ERP systems like Odoo, ensuring accurate salary calculations and compliance.
- Oversee attendance management, timesheet collection, and payroll-related matters across multiple locations.
- Maintain up-to-date employee records within the ERP system and coordinate financial aspects of payroll disbursements.
Performance Management
- Implement tailored performance evaluation processes for both office and site employees.
- Assist project managers in setting KPIs and providing continuous feedback.
- Identify training needs for high performers in both technical and non-technical roles.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Serve as the primary HR contact for all project and office employees.
- Manage conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance processes with fairness.
- Conduct site visits to promote a positive work environment and ensure employee welfare.
Compliance & Labor Law Management
- Ensure adherence to national labor laws and safety regulations within the construction industry.
- Manage employee contracts and maintain documentation for audits and regulatory compliance.
Learning & Development
- Identify and address skill gaps through relevant training programs.
- Support leadership development initiatives for project managers and site supervisors.
HR Strategy & Reporting
- Collaborate with the CCSO to align HR initiatives with corporate goals.
- Provide HR metrics and reports, including turnover, headcount, absenteeism, and payroll insights.
About You
Qualifications
- Education & Experience: Bachelorβs degree in Human Resources, Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Masterβs preferred). 5β8+ years of HR experience, with a minimum of 3 years in the construction or project-based industry. Strong experience with ERP HR/payroll systems (preferably Odoo) is essential.
