Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced construction foreman to join our engineering team. The foreman will assist the superintendent in overseeing on-site personnel and subcontractors, managing all aspects of construction projects from planning to implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the superintendent with the management of onsite personnel and subcontractors.
- Supervise all features of construction projects from planning to implementation.
- Allocate resources and operate heavy equipment as needed.
- Organize tools, machinery, materials, and workers while supervising construction activities.
- Ensure construction is executed according to plans and specifications.
- Ensure workers are well-informed about their roles and assign tasks based on skill sets.
- Coordinate construction workers and proactively prevent potential problems.
- Assess and minimize risks in collaboration with finance, HR, and project managers.
- AAssist in negotiating contracts and securing the necessary permits and licenses.
- Select tools and materials while preparing site reports, designs, and drawings.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 10 years as a Construction Foreman.
- Skills: Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- HThe position requires high integrity and professionalism, along with a strong attention to detail.
- CCandidates should possess commercial awareness and the ability to motivate teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
