About the Role
MCG Construction PLC is seeking Office Engineers to join our project team in Addis Ababa. The role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to manage engineering documentation and project coordination efficiently.
As an Office Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting project execution, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, and facilitating smooth collaboration between site and office teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and monitoring construction activities.
- Prepare and review project documentation, technical reports, and drawings.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, design standards, and safety regulations.
- Support site engineers and project managers in day-to-day operations.
- Track project progress and report updates to management.
- Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
Job Requirements
- Education: BSc degree in Civil Engineering or related fields.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience.
- Languages: Proficiency in Amharic and English (knowledge of Afan Oromo is an advantage).
- Skills: Strong technical knowledge, project documentation, and communication skills.
