The International Institute for Primary Health Care – Ethiopia (IPHC-E) is a technical arm affiliated with the Ethiopian Ministry of Health (MOH) and supported by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. IPHC-E strengthens primary health care systems through capacity building, innovation labs, policy development, and evidence-based programming.
IPHC-E is partnering with the MOH and Big Win Philanthropy on a transformative initiative to accelerate progress toward the Seqota Declaration—a national commitment to eliminate child stunting in Ethiopia.
The Consortium of Christian Relief and Development Association (CCRDA) is implementing this project on the ground, working closely with regional and local governments to establish Model Woredas as scalable examples of integrated nutrition and health service delivery.
🎯 Project Overview: Technical Assistance for Model Woreda Establishment
This project aims to create replicable, high-impact model woredas that integrate three key interventions:

By combining these approaches, the project will drive sustainable reductions in childhood stunting, serving as a “lighthouse” for national scale-up.
To ensure effective implementation, Woreda Coordinators are being recruited to lead technical assistance at the woreda and kebele levels across the Central Ethiopia Region.
