About NORCAP

Key Responsibilities

  • Program Management: Assist the African Union’s Political Affairs, Peace and Security Department (PAPS) in the administration of the Joint Framework Arrangement (JFA).
  • Financial Oversight: Be the focal point for strategic coordination and financial tracking across AU divisions and field offices.
  • Reporting: Deliver results-based reporting and ensure that the implementation of JFA and bilateral agreements is carried out in accordance with the agreement.
  • Partner Liaison: Regularly interact with partners to provide support for their planning and audits.
  • Technical Support: Deliver comprehensive technical support to the program Management Team (PMT).

Required Qualifications

  • The candidate must possess excellent experience in program management, donor coordination, and financial tracking in international or multilateral settings.
  • The candidate should possess a thorough understanding of the humanitarian, development, and peace-building fields.
  • Demonstrated accomplishment in collaborating with various stakeholders.

Context

The Pooled Fund Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient design, execution, coordination, and monitoring of the JFA within PAPS. The position is essential to harmonize department activities with JFA obligations and the strategic mission of the African Union Commission (AUC).Eligibility
