About the Role
Wonchi IJA Eco Lodge, in partnership with Ethiopian Skylight Hotel, is excited to announce an exciting career opportunity for a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as Lodge Manager . This role offers the chance to lead operations at a premier eco-lodge in the scenic Wonchi area, contributing to sustainable tourism and exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day lodge operations, ensuring high standards of service and hospitality.
- Manage staff, including training, supervision, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Develop strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and drive revenue growth.
- Collaborate with local communities and stakeholders to promote sustainable tourism practices.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Administration , Business Administration , or a related field.
- At least five years of experience in hotel or lodge management, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Oromifa is highly preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for eco-tourism and sustainable hospitality practices.
