Job Description

Position Overview

The Project Manager will control, direct, and coordinate all members of the project team to ensure successful planning, execution, and completion of road projects. The primary responsibility is to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure each stage of the project is executed on time and within budget.
  • Direct and supervise project development.
  • Select and lead the project team.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards for project management.
  • Organize logistics and procurement for projects.
  • Mediate with clients and consultants.
  • Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Identify and manage risks to maximize stakeholder benefits.
  • Organize, direct, coordinate, and motivate project team members.
  • Establish work breakdown structure and budget for cost control.
  • Maintain procurement schedules for materials and subcontractors.
  • Improve work processes and project team output.
  • Control subcontractor execution and quality.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly project status reports.
  • Implement manpower management and safety policies.
  • Ensure compliance with quality control requirements.
  • Complete projects on time, with quality, and within budget.
  • Prepare the project organization chart.
  • Conduct on-site induction training.
  • Ensure the Commercial Department plans the project cash flow chart early.
  • Confirm timely collection of interim and final payments.
  • Maintain required insurances and guarantees for project implementation.
  • Provide monthly risk assessment reports and mitigation plans.

About You

  • Education: M.Sc/B.Sc. in Civil Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years, with at least 2 years as a project manager in road construction.
  • Preferred Background: International experience or proven track record in end-to-end project execution, particularly in road construction (asphalt roads and bridges).
