Role Overview
As the Communications and Marketing Director, you will play a crucial role in:
- Enhancing the reputation, trust, and income of World Vision Ethiopia.
- Providing strategic leadership in communications and marketing for the organization.
- Developing and implementing an integrated strategy to establish a high-performance communications and marketing function, aligned with World Vision’s core ministry and global strategy, Our Promise.
- Ensuring alignment with global marketing and communications objectives focused on sustainable funding, engaging content, and amplifying global voices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Media, Journalism, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in leading marketing and communications teams within the international humanitarian and development sector, business, or creative industries.
- Proven experience in managing corporate partnerships and cultivating major donor relationships.
- Advanced skills in one or more key areas: creative services, public engagement, corporate communications, marketing operations, or supporter engagement.
- Fluency in English is essential.
- This position is primarily based in the head office in Addis Ababa, with some local and international travel required.
