Organizational Context

CISP has been operational in Ethiopia since 1986, focusing on humanitarian aid and long-term sustainable development projects across various sectors, including food security and livelihood.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Implementation (65%)
   • Manage multipurpose cash assistance programs and coordinate biometric registration of beneficiaries.
   • Conduct market assessments and facilitate cash transfers.
   • Implement income-generating activities for women’s groups, provide business skills training, and support beneficiary business plans.
2. Monitoring and Documentation (25%)
   • Lead impact assessments and document success stories.
   • Collaborate with the MEAL team for data quality assurance and project monitoring.
   • Prepare progress and final reports as per donor standards.
3. Additional Assignments (10%)
   • Operate accountability systems and collect community feedback.
   • Utilize data analysis tools to enhance project reporting.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Master’s degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in cash-based interventions and monitoring, with experience in international NGOs preferred.
• Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and technical skills; ability to manage stress in challenging environments.
