Project Focus

The project aims to support Ethiopian SMEs, particularly women-owned businesses, by enhancing their competitiveness and productivity, thereby facilitating job creation and growth.

Responsibilities

·       Analyze existing performance and improve labor productivity.

·       Introduce new production systems and techniques.

·       Conduct work studies and set production targets.

·       Improve garment production layouts and balance sewing lines.

·       Train staff on production improvement techniques and layout setup.

·       Enhance fabric utilization and implement a fabric reconciliation system.

·       Introduce a production data recording system.

Qualifications

·       Education: Bachelor’s degree in fashion technology, garment technology, textile engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field.

·        Experience:m7+ years in garment production.

·       Proven experience in the garment industry and capacity-building services.

Required Skills

·       Adaptability and strategic thinking.

·       Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
