Title: Project Manager – Agribusiness Division

Job Purpose

To lead and oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of initiatives under the Agribusiness Division, including exhibitions, conferences, B2B forums, and related publications. The role involves strategic oversight, team leadership, cross-project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and financial supervision to ensure successful project outcomes.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor project strategies and timelines for Agribusiness and Animal Science tracks.
• Approve key project documents such as concept notes, brochures, and evaluation reports.
• Lead budgeting and financial planning; ensure projects operate within approved budgets.
• Coordinate team functions across sales, marketing, operations, and events.
• Cultivate relationships with stakeholders, including government bodies and private sector players.
• Supervise Project Coordinators and Assistants, ensuring performance alignment.
• Identify and mitigate project risks; develop contingency plans.
• Ensure alignment with organizational goals across initiatives.
• Represent the division in national and international meetings and forums.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Animal Science, Project Management, or related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP) is a strong advantage.
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years in project management, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role, preferably within agriculture or related sectors.
• Skills:
  • The candidate should possess strategic thinking skills and a hands-on execution capability.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
