About NORCAP

The mission of NORCAP is to improve the effectiveness of humanitarian aid to protect and enable those whose lives have been disrupted by conflicts or climate change. We work with local, national, and global partners to provide for the needs of vulnerable populations.

Key Responsibilities

• Implementation and Monitoring: Oversee the execution and supervision of Agenda 2063 flagship projects.
• Strategic Coordination: Facilitate communication with AU departments and partners for smooth implementation and evaluation of programs.
• Reporting: Make sure that high-impact initiatives are correctly documented and evaluated.
• Project Management: Supervise the development and assess the inclusion of new initiatives to Agenda 2063 Flagship Projects.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in project and program development, management, and implementation of complex matters.
• Strong experience in setting up and running monitoring and evaluation systems.
• Capacity to enable regular follow-up and reporting on work progress.

The African Union has initiated the Second Ten Year Implementation Plan (STYIP) for Agenda 2063, a program that aims at improving operational efficiency
